Dr. Andrew Timar
Dr. Timar grew up in Phoenixville, PA. He completed his undergraduate studies at Elizabethtown College and Logan University earning Bachelors of Science degrees in Biology/Allied Health and Human Biology. He earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Logan University in 2004. While in graduate school, Dr. Timar was a teaching instructor for adjusting/manipulation courses and also completed a hospital residency in Saint Louis, Missouri. He is currently an active member within the Pennsylvania Chiropractic Association.
Dr. Timar takes an integrative approach to patient care treating a wide range of patients from infants to senior adults with applying the most appropriate traditional Chiropractic care in conjunction w/ other conventional options. His primary focus of care is centered on the musculoskeletal system and improving maximum healing and function. He enjoys offering care for a range of case types from the acute injuries, “weekend warriors,” personal injury, worker’s compensation, athletes, chronic conditions, and general wellness. He especially enjoys treating the difficult cases of patients that have tried several previous treatment options unsuccessfully. He believes Chiropractic care should be an integral part of a person’s overall health and enjoys co-management of patient care with other healthcare providers. Dr. Timar appreciates the hands-on and active approach that Chiropractic offers.
Dr. Timar is active with several organizations throughout the Phoenixville community including the Phoenixville Babe Ruth league (Secretary/Treasurer, volunteer coach), Heath Care Access of Phoenixville (Chairman of the Board), PASD Wall of Fame Committee and the Leo Scoda Scholarship Committee (Chairman). He currently resides in Phoenixville with his wife and two daughters.
